Day 01 : Delhi

Delhi: Delhi is the capital of India and its third largest city. Delhi, the seat of one of the world’s largest democracies is a combination of “Old Delhi”- the capital of Muslim India and “New Delhi” the imperial city created as the nation’s capital by the British. There’s a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Here one can see mingling of many cultures, languages, traditions and people in complete harmony.

Day 02 : Delhi

After breakfast Proceed For Old Delhi Sightseeing Tour
Raj Ghat: The mortal remains of Mahatma Gandhi were cremated on this spot on the west bank of the river Yamuna on the evening of January 31, 1948. A simple open platform inscribed with the Mahatma’s last words, ‘Hey Ram’ (Oh God) is set in a garden with fountains and a variety of exotic trees.

Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India. Located in Old Delhi, the mosque has the capacity to accommodate 25000 devotees. Jama Masjid was completed in 1656 AD and it was again the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan behind this architectural masterpiece. Close to some 5000 craftsmen were involved in the construction of the mosque. Jama Masjid is also called the Friday congregational mosque.

Lotus Temple The Lotus Temple, located in Delhi, India, is a Bahá’í House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986, costing $10 million. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city.

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur By Surface : 265 Km/ 5 hrs

The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character and history – A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. Jaipur is popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria.

Overnight stay will be in Jaipur .

Day 04 : Jaipur

After breakfast Proceed for sightseeing tour of Jaipur .

Briefing (Amber Fort Palace): – Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

CITY PALACE – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

HAWA MAHAL – The ornamental facade of this “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. It is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

This afternoon is free for you to relax, shop or explore independently. Shopping is superb in Jaipur, particularly for gold and silver jewellery, pottery, tie-dye materials, silk, saris, wooden handicrafts and carpets.

Day 05 : Jaipur – Fatehpur sikri – Agra
Next day we will set off towards Agra. In the middle of the way we will stop to see the Old ages city – Fatehpur Sikri. It’s famous for its relics and the Ashoka Pillar it has in it – with original inscription on it. Around lunch time you will reach Agra. Soon after lunch we shall take you to see one of the SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD – TAJ MAHAL. Made out of pure white marble – its eternal beauty to admire! After this, its the Red Fort of Agra which we will take you to. Night and dinner stay at the hotel.
Day 06 : Agra –Jhansi – Orcha – Khajuraho
Next morning, soon after a early lunch we will move towards Jhansi by train. From Jhansi, we will take you to Khajuraho by an air – conditioned coach. In between we will reach Orchha. It is one of the most beautiful places of Madhya Pradesh – filled with ages old relics, chatris, Jahangir Mahal, Phool Bag and much more. It will be evening when we will reach Khajuraho. Dinner at stay at the pre – booked hotel of Khajuraho.
Day 07 : Khajuraho – Varanasi
Khajuraho is the home of UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples here are the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain Temples – known for their erotic sculptures. Built by Chandela Monarchs; these are perfect combination of Hindu and Jain temples. Famous temples here include Parsarvnath, Adinath and Shantinath Temple. Lunch and dinner at the hotel in Khajuraho only.
Day 08 : Varanasi
Varanasi where the auspicious Hindu river Ganges flows is your next destination. We shall reach here in the afternoon. Soon after lunch we shall take you to Sarnath – the place where Lord Buddha preached for the first time after attaining enlightenment. The Evening is set for Ganges Arti and boat ride. Dinner shall be served in the hotel at Varanasi.
Day 09 : Varanasi – Kathmandu – Chitwan
We shall take you to Kathmandu on the 9th day of your tour by flight. Once you reach Tribhuvan International Airport, we shall take you to a round of the city, where you will see the largest Stupa in Nepal – Boudhanath Stupa. After this, we move on to see Chitwan – it’s a Buddhist destination. It’s at Chitwan where your stay – in has been arranged. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Chitwan
Chitwan National Park is the next destination you will see on 10th day of your tour. Enjoy the safari in Chitwan National Park while exploring the wildlife. Earlier a National Park; it’s now open to public and has 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpeto fauna and 126 species of fish. Its renowned for One Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. Lunch will be in the National Sanctuary and dinner at the hotel in the city.
Day 11 : Chitwan –Pokhra
Next morning we will set off to Pokhara. Its one of the most beautiful tourist destinations Nepal has. Since we are going to spend one more day there; we will take you to your check – in hotel. After lunch you can take a walk in the surroundings of your hotel and enjoy the natural beauty. Night stay and dinner at the hotel.
Day 12 : Pokhra
Pokhara is a full fledged sporting activity place. One has many things to do – trekking, sky diving, sunrise paragliding, river rafting. You can choose amongst them and enjoy the one you like in the first half of the day. In the afternoon, after lunch we will take you to Gupteshwar Gupha (a natural temple), SOS Childrens’ Village and Shree Gaden Dhargay Ling Monastery. Night stay and dinner at the hotel.
Day 13 : Pokhra – Kathmandu
Next day, we drive back to Kathmandu soon after breakfast. Here in Kathmandu, we will take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square – also known as Hanuman Dhoka. Also see the nearby temples and enjoy the natural scenic beauty of this land. Lunch is traditional Nepalese food. In the evening take a walk in the local market – shop or just stroll. Dinner and night stay is set at the hotel you are staying in.
Day 14 : Kathmandu
Next day the first place we will take you to is Pashupatinath Temple. Also known as Ashtamukhi Pashupatinath, it is the most revered Hindu temple in Nepal. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting the temple, lunch will be served at one of the best hotels here. After lunch we shall take you to Kaal Bhairav and temple of Kumari Ghar – mythical abode of Kumari. Next is the Swayambhunath Stupa – 2000 years old – the oldest Bhuddhist shrine. Rest of the time you can take a stroll in the market. Dinner and night stay in the hotel.
Day 15 : Kathmandu
On the last day of your trip we will see you off to New Delhi airport from Kathmandu airport. From Indira Gandhi International airport, we will help you catch the next flight to your onward journey.
